The water transmission to Yazd national project has been one of the country recent largest local projects which was executed by TA and many other local contractors in the shortest time schedule. The raw water from Zayandeh Rood river in Isfahan province in central of Iran near Isfahan main city has been taken by three pump stations of 3 m3/s and transmitted to the Yazd province through 330 km of steel pipeline with diameter of 1400/1600 mm. The project consisted of four pump stations, seven reservoirs and a water treatment plant. TA was the main contractor of designing and executing of the pump stations, mechanical, electrical, control and telemetry system. The project was started from Jan. 1996 and ended on Feb 1999. The main activities of the executed project were outlined as:
