Project Short Description
A set of complete control and automation system and panels were ordered by an Iranian local contractor to be installed in Nukus water treatment in Nukus city of Uzbekistan. The equipment were mainly consisted of main and vacuum pumps local panels, station control panel, filtration local control panels, chemical pumps local panels, washing pumps local control panels, 3×1.4 m2 wall mimic panel with digital indicators and data acquisition system with operator consoles,… etc.
All equipment for this major project were designed and manufactured by TA engineers and fabricated in TA’s workshop. The panels protection were IP54 for outdoor and IP42 Ingress Protection standard for indoor installation.
The Toshiba T2E type PLCs were installed in automation panels for the logic and data handling/interfacing of the input/output signals and also as signal controller of mimic panel. The number of exported panels to Nukus water treatment plant and equipment was about 42 items for this project.
