Project Short Description
The design and preparation of tender document for the Khangiran gas fields and facilities was done as a specialty by TA’s engineering department. At initial stage the communication links between gas wells and central main facilities were realized to be designed by UHF system for the data transfer and VHF system for the voice service ,but later the overhead fiber optic lines on existing power network was decided by the client and therefore the whole tender document was revised accordingly. The RTUs were distributed in well areas and CMF facilities to collect data from process fields and send/receive signals through communication links to the SCADA control room located in Khangiran administrative building.
The project was contracted and executed by a local contractor based on Siemens PLCs and overhead fiber optic cable installed on the electrical power network.
